In this session, we’ll cover the Alaska State Library’s Journal Finder, some of the best sources of free articles on the internet, and interlibrary loan. We'll also introduce you to the library's databases of full-text articles. This is a hands-on session in which you’ll have the chance to conduct your own research and ask questions. This class is most appropriate for new researchers or state employees who are not familiar with the State Library’s services.

State employees have the full text of over 41,000 books in a wide range of academic and technical subject areas, including law, computers, education, health, political science, and more available at their desktop. This hour long webinar will show you how to access these books, how to build your own electronic bookshelf and the best ways to find the books you need. Whether you need to brush up on your customer service, solve a computer problem, learn some phrases for your foreign-speaking client or engage in strategic planning, there is an ebrary book for you.
